I've rendered a couple of images for the skin shaders I have for Superfly. Same model, same texture, four different skin shaders.
Which one do you like and why?

They all look nice i think, but as a choice I would say the first or the third one from the left, leaning towards the third one the most, the specularity seems more natural to me. But I think you would have to render them as four separate images with the character placed exactly the same in all of them. If you compare the first girl to the last girl, she have rotated, which will change the lighting and shadows on each of the characters.

The model was just dublicated and moved on the X axis, But yes, the camera makes for a different value. Maybe I will redo this, at some time, but for now I still hope for more opinions on this set of images.

I think I'm leaning more towards the 3rd from the left as well. It has just enough shine to the skin without it being overwhelming, which is how I often see character skins.

Third from left for me, just seems to have the right amount of specularity/SS and skin tone for my preferences. First is just a little darker on skin tone than I prefer, Second looks to "dry" and last a little too oily... Those are my why's. Lol.
