So I made the switch from my old Poser 8 to Daz studio 4.9. I noticed the trend, and it was cheaper than upgrading Poser lol. But I haven't been able to work with V4.2 or M4 either. I used to have their morph ++ installed on poser, but I found that I liked Daz much better and wiped out poser.

Anyway, since I haven't been able to work with them I was wondering if there are similar morph packages like that for the genesis figures? What morph packs would you suggest for character creation?

Congratulation? To realy make use of DS, you should make the leap to the G3figures. The base figures are free with DS. Thanks to auto fit, your V4clothes will fit nicley. Joint bends so much better on G3, because of a fine tuned JCM system.

Things are not as easy to find in the DAZ store as they should be, plus there has been a name change!

Search for these packs:

Genesis 3 Female Body Morphs,

Genesis 3 Female Head Morphs,

Genesis 3 Female Expressions,

(By the way, you should still be able to re-download and re-install those V4 and M4 morph packs from your DAZ account, if you really want them.)

I had switched too a while back, and really love the way the program works and the Genesis family works. Took me awhile, however, I did not blow Poser away, because I really like the way dynamics works still and have so many models that still work great in Poser.

If you owned V4 M4 morph++ package DIM should still be able to install them. Not that G3 isn't good also but your previous content should still load fine.

Personally I use both, and I like both about the same. Both have advantages over the other and both have drawbacks. Basically, I use Daz fora while, then when I get bored with it I switch to Poser for a while, then back to Daz then back to Poser, etc.
