Victoria 3, Aiko 3, Michael 3, David 3 Aiko, Hiro, Luke Laura, Matt, Maddie; all shared the same uv map. Character texture maps were interchangeable within the Mil 3 group. Morphs were stored in the .cr2 or were stored in pz2 injection files. the .cr2 needed 'channels' to be prepared for the injections.

**Victoria 4 **and her female counterparts, Aiko 4, She Freak, Girl, Stephanie, share the same uv template. Michael 4 and his counter parts broke away from the females, Michael's counterparts, Hiro 4, Freak, share a common uv template. Kids 4, another uv template.

Genesis Geometry and uvs are stored separately in Daz Studio format, Genesis morphs stored in data folder, are all recognized automatically when loading a Gemesis figure.

Separating the uvs from the geometry, gives the flexibility to 'swap' uv templates. Genesis base comes with uv templates for Victoria 4, Michael 4, Kids 4. Adding Michael 5 and Victoria 5 brings in more uv templates, specific to their texture maps.

Uv swapping isn't available within Carrara, as of this article, it mebbe in Carrara 9)

for using a Genesis figure in Carrara with the various uv templates, say, a Victoria 5 character texture on Genesis, a Victoria 6 texture on Genesis 2 Female, a Victoris 7 texture on Janette. apply the needed uv template within the Daz Studio software. and save it as a 'character preset'.

Saving Carrara shaders for a character's texture map, entails keeping track of the uvtemplate required and loading the 'character preset' for that uv set.
