Why am I getting these black vertical lines when I render a plane (not Hi Res) using the brick node?

Try using the one-sided square instead.

And maybe "check" the "normals forward" box.

Which solution? Or was it the combination of both?

It's the first one. Poser's had this anomaly for a long time, since P5 I believe. Always use a one sided square or you'll get those weird marks on just about anything.

I'm sorry I didn't see the first one. Flipping the normals did it. Next time I will try with the two sided plane. Thanks
