Just in case you're not aware of it...

It appears to be only happening with images posted in the last few hours, because stuff posted this afternoon and earlier are all visible.

I remember there was some kind of glitch a few hours ago - I couldn't get to the site for several minutes, then it came back up. It's probably related to the current issue..

I tried around 5:00 Pacific Time, and again just now (10:00 PDT), and it's still not working.

So is someone going to fix this??? I see a bunch more folks have tried to upload, and still no thumbs or images... I know it's a holiday weekend, but we'd love some kind of update....

Who is looking into it at Renderosity and when will it be fixed ? This after all is a 24x7 site and supposed to have tech support 24x7.
Clicking on those no thumbnail links opens the image page but without the image. So I guess none of the images and thumbnails were uploaded properly or not saved at the proper folder path.
RedPhantom posted Sat, 01 July 2017 at 6:02 AM Site Admin
It looks like something similar may be happening with the freestuff too. I tried uploading last night and while it's still pending approval it's showing in my freestuff without the thumbnail. I can click on the little missing image icon and it takes me to the page but there's no image and I get an error if I try to download. Don't know if that's part of the error or cause it's pending.

It has been 9 plus hours now. Anyone working to resolve this ?

A notification to members might be helpful. I don't recall this ever happening, and I've been a member since 2001.
rajib posted Sat, 01 July 2017 at 9:39 AM
Really no one from Renderosity is looking into this ? I still see members still trying to post. At least disable the upload button until this is fixed. It only builds frustration among members. And Renderosity, please be more responsive to your members reporting system issues.

I think it is some sort of permission issue in AWS for the recent uploads. Trying to directly view the image results in : AccessDeniedAccess Denied followed by junk (Meaningful only to AWS I think)

I have left a message for the programmers about this. Sorry for the inconvenience.

RodS - It is in Rendo's best interests to keep the site running as smoothly as possible. Occasionally, there are problems and we try very hard to solve these as quickly as possible. Whilst we understand that this can at times be frustrating, we do appreciate it when our clients show a little patience. Rest assured then, that Jeff HAS informed those best placed to solve this matter and that the programmers will work as hard as they can to stop this occurring again. We thank you for your support.

Thank you very much for your response. That's all we wanted. We all realize that things happen from time to time, and I know the techs will get the issue resolved. Thanks again.

I can't get my image uploaded to my Gallery. I wait and wait and then the browser tells me there is an http error.

You probably won't be able to upload until they get this resolved. Apparently the proper folks have been notified.

Timing wise looks like something expired on 30th June that lead to all image uploads to AWS failing. Anyway, nothing we can do but wait for Renderosity to fix the issue. Hopefully soon.

Seen this down since last night around 10 pm my time, never seen it like this before, no ebots also. Shame many fine artists can't have their works shown for commentings. Hope we can start viewing soon.

Just checked the galleries - looks like the new images and thumbs are showing up correctly. Thanks, programmers! For the older posts that still don't show up, are those stored in the system somewhere, or will they have to be re-uploaded?
Again, Thank You for getting things working again! We do appreciate your hard work.

Looks like they're making progress.. I was about to send the Girls down there to oversee things - and they were about to give Miho a call to join them!

haha =). Our girls could definitely fix it ;). Well, it is good too see things are back to normal. I hope they know what went wrong and will put things in place to prevent this from happening again.
Thank you Renderosity. But taking more than 12 hours to get a issue fixed is not a good sign. Please see what you can do to improve your processes.
