I'm using DAZ 4.9. Whatever light I use, my test renders with Victoria 8 has a red tint skin, almost blood like. Very ugly. Has this ever happened to any of you and did you find a way to sort out the problem ?

could be a render engine/shader mismatch Are you using 3Delight or Iray as renderer?

3dlight allways look reddish to me. One of many reasons, I don't like 3dlight.

Elisabeth V8 IRAY with standard light. Can't be right, can it ?

Your render doesn't look as bad as you describe it, i.e.,"a red tint skin, almost blood like". It looks about like I would expect for a setup shot with a single light.

You may be right but :

Which version exactly - Help>About Daz Studio?
JIMMYJOHN posted Mon, 17 July 2017 at 12:28 PM
Hi RHaseltine, not sure which version :( or I don't know where to look I says DAZ 4.9 pro, no other numbers behind like 4.9.2111 or whatever. Can that be the problem ?
RHaseltine posted Mon, 17 July 2017 at 4:35 PM
Help>About Daz Studio has the full version number at top-left

OK thanks. It says: General release 4.9.4.117 SDK release 4.5.0.114 Public beta 4.9.4.122 Private beta 4.10.0x Does it make sense ?

It shouldn't say all of that - you are looking at the About Daz Studio dialogue inside Daz Studio?

OK, got it : 4.9.3.166 Thanks for your help !
RHaseltine posted Tue, 18 July 2017 at 2:56 PM
I think that version is not able to fully support the new features of Victoria 8, you may need to update to 4.9.4.117

Uh, bad news but at least I now know where the problem comes from... Thanks for taking the time to help me, I'm grateful.
