_OSX El Capitan Ver 10.11.6 MacBook Pro Retina, Mid 2012 15 in. Poser Pro Game Dev 10.0.5.305_56 I am getting some nasty artifacts using Open GL preview and a point light. I want to see the shadows but not these ugly black artifacts. Anything that can be done? I can live with it but... rather not.

Do the black areas remain when doing a full render or if the light is moved? From the picture it looks like a reversed normal problem

I'm assuming that rounded cube thing is a Poser-supplied prop, which means it's misbehaving on YOUR system but not mine.
I would look at OpenGL driver updates first.
Renderosity forum reply notifications are wonky. If I read a follow-up in a thread, but I don't myself reply, then notifications no longer happen AT ALL on that thread. So if I seem to be ignoring a question, that's why. (Updated September 23, 2019)

_MacBook Pro Retina, Mid 2012 15 in. OS X 10.11.6, Poser Pro Game Dev 10.0.5.305_56 The rounded thing is my own prop. Apple makes its own drivers & they are included in the OS updates. This does not happen with the spreeD preview. I have been trying to find information for Open GL vs spreeD preview but with unsatisfying results, yes checked the Manual. Thanks for the reply.
