I clicked on the unsubscribe at the bottom of one of the newsletters: Unsubscribe from MarketPlace Promotions
Please make sure it will be taken into account, I don't want to receive any mails from this site. Thank you.

Got another one today. Any word that staff know this is going on? I'd rather not get the newsletters else I'd have chosen to get them in my preferences (see above - I am opted OUT).

ditto that... i have tried to unsubscribe three times now, apparently w.out success...
my preferences, too, have not changed; however, i do have two members who have stores that i am "following" as merchants. is this the reason why? it has made no difference in the past, but if it is the culprit, i will surely and gladly "unfollow" them, tho' i suspect that it only hurts them as i have purchased a thing or two due to receiving notifications of new releases by these individuals.
i also have two items sitting upon my wishlist. if this is the sudden cause of email receipts, i shall happily clear my list and never develop another one.
how about just simply making the "opt out/unsubscribe" script actually work, either by paying attention to my preferences as stated upon the site, or even those options given in email when utilised. just figure it out, please...

Hello everybody! I have passed on this glitch information to an admin so they can pass it on to the programmer. I'm hoping that the glitch can be fixed and you all won't have to stop following your favorite vendors.

LaurieA, I'm sorry you received another newsletter. I would put the newsletter part of the website in time out right now if it was human. lol I hope and pray that this problem is one of the top five items the programmer is working on this week, he has a long list of things to work on. Please Mr. Programmer make the newsletters go to the right places and make members smile again and thank you for your help wherever you are.

Hi Laurie! I haven't forgotten about you. I'm seriously trying to help you and others in this thread. I have passed on this glitch to an admin that has passed it on to the programmer. I hope and pray that this glitch gets fixed soon.

I'm still getting them. Also, my sponsor old website is now with my freebies again and I could SWEAR that I asked and had that removed last year already. It's back. It's a dead link. No website anymore. Gone. Like I'd love the Rendo newsletter to be gone from my mailbox.

Yup. Specially as an admin can answer about a comment issue on the site, but cannot about something that can get the site in legal trouble - namely sending unsolicited email when requested to stop.....

I've sent a message to Admin that this issue is still ongoing. I'll let you know when I hear something. As for the gallery sales, I personally think it's a great idea. Deviantart has been doing it for years. I've got a whole collection of coffee cups, and a few prints, of my art from Deviant; they're my favorite coffee cups. Though, I wish someone else would like to buy my prints, but that's never happened. Still, it's a nice service. Though, I'm not really sure how my friends that have gotten coffee cups with my art for Christmas feel about it. I imagine internal groans and sighs, 'oh great, another coffee cup from Wolf, gee, thanks'.

Well, yanno...it's always the same with this place. They have you poor mods and coords jump in and say "Oh, it's being worked on" and be the voice for the (sorry) inept programmer(s) and yet I can see they've been working hard on monetizing the galleries. However, little else ever gets fixed, this site is bleeding members AND staff and frankly, after almost 20 long years, I've just about lost interest. I'm sooooo sooooo close to just having you guys close my account and losing your website address. If it weren't for all the stuff I've already bought here, I would have done it already. I may just do some final backup this weekend and do exactly that. I just got a new 8tb drive....
I'm sorry wolf...I'm not displeased with you or any other mod, but I'm just totally exasperated with the site....
