Hi, is there already a tool around to disconnect a DSON managed figure from dson so that it is basically a native poser figure? I know this will lose some features, but will enable others. Thanks

nevermind, I think I found a way to do it. after disconnecting it, one can send it to goz to make HD morphs on it. thats at least one +1

good question. maybe. if these are rigged similarly like the daz 3+4

I think Creators Toolbox (netherworks) can clean the dson content after you saved the figure in Poser to the library. Then it will no longer use DSON, but only the converted CR2 with associated OBJ file. But make sure you do not delete the obj file which is stored in the DSON Data folder in the Poser Runtime. If i remember correctly, toybox can automatically move the obj file to geometries for you.

Correction - above should say Creators Toybox

Hey colorcurvature, off topic, but do you think your M4K4 mixer would work on Dawn, Dusk and Luna?
If it is built off the same mesh, yes.
The M4K4 mixer works with the Daz Gen 2 series and the DAZ Gen 3 series, as well as the DAZ Gen 4 series.

Well, I do know that Dusk and Dawn are built off the same Mesh. I think Luna as well.

Creator’s Toybox is the way to go. I convert all my DSON stuff to Poser native, and there is no loss of function. You can also export cr2s from DS that don’t have Poser companion files, run them through the Toybox, and they work great. The instructions are quite clear.

I haven't successfully been able to make a G7 or G8 character work native in Poser. As soon it's loading in the setup room bones get weird and even weirder when you exit the setup room.

That's a whole different process usu=ing Willdial's free software. I've never tried it,
