Hi, I am new here and a first-time sci-fi writer. My FB page is here: https://www.facebook.com/ascendbooks/

My book is about uploading one's mind into a computer. The leading character had had her mind uploaded into a bot and is leading the fight against a multi-dimensional artificial intelligence entity that is bent on enslaving humanity and controlling our dimension.

My first-time attempt to show my own cover art from freebie art was not met with encouraging feedback so I am wondering if anyone here can suggest some successful artistic themes that would make a great cover. I have to start somewhere and perhaps some folks here have experience with what seems to work.

Thoughts?

Mike

I've always thought Fractals used as Cover Art for SciFi and /or Fantasy stories would work well as example

You might go to Amazon's Book section, look at the Cyberpunk covers for inspiration. Here's one that looks interesting (click on the image for larger):

I would definitely get with Lenord to see about any scifi looking book covers, hell Ive done book covers myself but would still ask him to do one for me if I were creating a scifi related book.
