A set of modern judge's robes would be nice. I'm not sure if there are any differences between styles between the ones here in the US and ones in the UK...

That would be nice. I think there are differences in the robes (at least what I've seen on tv). I would prefer conforming as my skill use in using dynamics need work :) I really need to spend a week just using dynamic clothing some day.
The dust settled, thinking "what a fine home, at least for now" not realizing that doom would soon be coming in the form of a vacuum cleaner.

While I don't mind dynamic clothing, I'm far from being an expert, either. So, yeah, conforming would probably be easier to work with.

Thing is, stuff like robes are SO much better when they're dynamic.
The robe itself should be fairly easy to model. But if people shy away from dynamics .. Well ... it may not be worth the bother :(

You just can't put the words "Poserites" and "happy" in the same sentence - didn't you know that? LaurieA
Using Poser since 2002. Currently at Version 11.1 - Win 10.

I've been buying quite a bit of dynamic stuff for Poser, but I've had very little "play" and render time with Poser... But, my runtime external hard drive malfunctioned early last year. At the same time, I found out my backup external was unresponsive. This PC is only recognizing about one in every three backup discs I've burned for content in the past. So, I'm finding myself rebuilding my runtimes from scratch. Very slowly. I'm basically tearing each product at the same time, trouble-shooting each for easy-use. So, it's slow going. It's been over a year now and I've barely scratched the surface on re-installing.

With the release of dForce for Studio, I've noticed a LOT of flowy(?) and loose items hitting the marketplace at Daz. I'm assuming that this is because making stuff dynamic eliminates the need to rig an item, making the content creation process easier. Daz has a set of kaftans for Genesis 8 that would work well as judges robes with a simple shader change.

I do not use Daz Studio or Genesis. I use Poser Pro 2014.

Dforce items are still rigged and weightmapped so they can be used as conforming or dynamic.
