I use Poser 11. Usually, it doesn't give me any problems. BUT, almost every time I click on a dial- just a simple click- this freakin' window pops up. It's driving me crazy! Does anyone have ANY ideas how to shut the )*%$% thing off??!!

The only way I can get it to pop up is with a double click. Dragging the wheel or using the arrows either side doesn't seem to trigger it. OS Mouse settings accidently set to give double click??
Poser 11 , 180Gb in 8 Runtimes, PaintShop Pro 9
Windows 7 64 bit, Avast AV, Comodo Firewall
Intel Q9550 Quad Core cpu, 16Gb RAM, 250Gb + 250Gb +160Gb HD, GeForce GTX 1060

Sorry it's taken so long to answer. The comp I use for the internet has been in the shop this past week. But to answer your question, I position the cursor, click once and that window pops up before I can do anything else. Sometimes I have to go through this several times before I can finally use the dial.

One option is to let Poser rebuild the Poser.ini and LibraryPrefs.xml file.
On a windows machine they are found in C: > Users > yourusenname > AppData > Roaming > Poser > 11. (not sure where on a Mac) You will have to make hidden files visible.
Copy and paste the files so you have a back-up then delete them. When you restart Poser you will have to re-add your runtimes, re-organize the windows back how you want them and add any other customizations.
Hope this helps

Sounds like I'd be better off just re-installing the program .

That's kinda like chopping off your arm to cure a hangnail ;)
How old is your mouse? When mine starts to fail (the do get worn out) it usually starts by thinking I will doubleclick when I only clicks once.It might be something that simple :)

You just can't put the words "Poserites" and "happy" in the same sentence - didn't you know that? LaurieA

That's a possibility. My mouse is for a Genesis tablet and it is more than a few years old.
