Most of you will probably laugh at the dinosaur bones I'm working with here, but it's the best I can do with the budget :) I currently have an HP Z400 Workstation Xeon Quad-Core with an NVIDIA Quadro FX 1800 card, CUDA cores 64, 768MB. I have a chance to get an EVGA GeForce GTX 660 2048MB for under $100. Is this worth the money? Running PoserPro 11, Blender. Thanks for the advice!

The real issue here is that the card wants a PCIe-3 slot, and my machine has a PCIe-2. They are backwards-compatible, but with the lower bandwidth, the new card would be slowed a bit. I was wondering if anyone knew how much compromise would be made here, and if that was worth it.
