Something is missing from the add-on and it is still in alpha stage of development so it is not it is not a production ready add-on and will be prone to having bugs will more than likely not work properly

lobo is mostly right whoever made this has had some updates but didn't keep same names for stuff so u have more then one thing tryna do same thing
dunno this plug in but lens flare can be done in compositor or in post pro

On this one you have to uninstall any previous versions before installing the new version otherwise you get this error. It states his latest release is in beta currently.
Quoted from his Ga page "Note: to use this version you have to uninstall older versions of the addon. To do this you may have to disable AN first, then restart Blender and then remove the old version. Alternatively you can delete the addon folder manuall while Blender is closed."
He also hasn't done any work on this since July last year.
