I was thinking of using the reward points to get a $5 gift card, but I was wondering if I got a prime item or a sale item that was less than $5. Do I loose the rest?

Hi,
No you do not lose the rest. The GC code remains in effect until all the money has been used

You will find it under the 'Gift Certs' tab on your account page

Thanks, I found it. I got something that was $5 anyway but it still wanted a payment method. I choose PayPal. I assume a prime merchant resource bought with render rewards still is considered merchant resources? Otherwords I can still make something with it with the same restrictions as if I paid for it full price?
