Hello, I'm a beginner on DAZ Studio and it's great. Thanks in passing for your super useful Freestuffs. Alas I can not find everything I need. Which software would allow me to create my own models and then convert them to Daz (and Poser, a little later ...) Thank you for your advice.

Blender is the most preferred free 3D Modeling program around especially if you are a beginner. It does have a steep learning curve and the UI can be a bit frustrating, but for the value, you can't get anything better.

I'd like to point you towards this fork (version) of Blender ( https://www.bforartists.de/ ). It's exactly the same as Blender but with an interface that's much more friendly. Blender programmers assume you use no other software and will spend every waking second memorizing an endless stream of shortcuts and cryptic instructions. Bforartists assumes that you're normal.

Thank you for your reply hborre and SheikhalMaktoum. I will download both, I will choose then. Before starting, do Blender and bforartists allow to export files in DAZ (Duf, DSON) and Poser (CR2 ...) formats?
