Question regarding 'instances' in Studio. I appreciate that they can save muchly polys with crowds or groups of items but would it be worth it to remake an interior from instances? I like using the Baroque Grandeur set (https://www.daz3d.com/baroque-grandeur) and know that it's made from numerous similar panels such as the columns, windows and window/panel frames. I was thinking about starting with just one of each type of panel and remaking it with instances. In any case, there isn't more than a dozen of any one item. The floor and ceiling are separate.

If you intend doing a significant amount of renders with the set, I'd put in the effort. Not sure how many poly's that set has out the box. IMO instances in larger architectural sets make a big difference on render times. That and lighting of course. If you do go that route, remember to use snapping where you can, to speed up placement of props, if the models permit. Also, set up keyboard shortcuts for both duplicate and instance creation. Good luck.
