Since I've gotten back into posting images again, I've noticed a few disturbing things:

• There is no Carrara forum moderator - gee, I miss Mark Bremmer!
• There is very little Carrara forum activity.
• There can be 3-4 days (or more) before seeing a Carrara image/video post.

I know the "D" place has left the Carrara community twisting in the wind, but isn't Carrara really alive as long as we keep using it? Somebody else said something that really clicked with me: I'm going to keep using Carrara (and Carrara-specific content) as long as I can keep it running. Yes, it has some annoying bugs but surprise so does every major piece of software on the planet. But for the most part it works and works well. I've seen nothing else out there that can provide so MUCH functionality, and at a very reasonable price. (Yes I also dabble at other products, but Carrara is the one I reach for if I want to seriously jam something out.)

I think we as the Carrara community need to re-energize ourselves. What I'm proposing is this: Someone in our community post a Carrara-tagged image or video every day for the next 2-3 months, and try to post at least one tech / beginner topic per week in the forum. Shoot I'll even commit myself to post on a given day of the week for this time - there 1/7th of the images already accounted for LOL! (I don't think I'm very qualified for forum tech "how-to's", but I'll try to do something there too.)

How about if we start Saturday, December 1 and end Thursday, February 8? I'll even kick us off on December 1 and take Saturdays from then on. I count 13 Saturdays in that period, that's do-able even for me.

What do you guys think? I know we have busy lives (especially during the holidays) but is anyone out there willing to commit to posting something during this period?
