Extrude, shear, slice, etc... all real visible. Subdivide seems to be missing. Is it just in modifiers now?

Hello dweomer Took me a couple of minutes to find it as well along the top in the modeling tab then click on the edge menu you will see subdivide see my screen shot below this is why I changed my space bar key back to act like 2.79 so instead of it being the auto play function for animation is is my search click space bar and search menu comes up faster I feel that the steps I wrote above. But it is still being developed so I am sure this will change before final release
