OK, not my piccy, that's rubbish. But here's the rub, it took literally minutes to create this scene.
The amazing bit is the background, it was made using a new bit of 3d/landscape software called Flowscape. Trying not to sound like an advert, I have no connection to the makers, just think this is seriously cool with loads of features. Easy to set day/night, camera focal etc. Or add animals, rocks, plants, trees etc and all for $10.
Only downside for us poser/studio users is there's no export. But you can save pictures and that's where this is useful for us. We can use these as background images or (as shown here) add them to things like the cyclorama, the RNDA infinity cove or VP's DSU.
Oh, there is one other downside ....it's addictive and once other people -especially non 3d folks - start playing you won't get your computer back for hours:)

Well, Flowscape by PixelForest appears to be a very soothing game on its own. They aren't asking too much for it, either.

Well, thanks for the offer and all that but I think I'll pass.

Being at the office I couldn'r risk playing the audio, so i don't know what was said. But the "workflow" seems very entertaining unto itself. It has an almost biblical "Genesis" effect to it, foliage (and animal) emerging from the ground in short animated sequences rather than simply "appearing" within the workspace. I can see how that would be addicting. "Hey, Mommy! Watch be play 'G*d'! 'Let there be...trees!'"

It doesn't say, just that it works under win 7 with GB, but maybe rendo's reviewer might know...

I bought it. Heck, it's only $10.
It's kind of like Vue for Dummies. :-)
I do wish settings were "sticky." In particular, I'd like to mute that annoying music permanently.

just found this thread, didn't use Poser but Carrara but since people keep posting other software alternatives in the Carrara forum here I thought it was fair game and it does have the Hivewire 3D big cat that is also available on Rendo, I composited in Hitfilm rather badly because I can only capture Flowscape with Nvidia Shadowplay which does mp4 nothing else I use will load
mrsparky posted Wed, 13 February 2019 at 5:58 PM
there's nothing bad about that - actually looks really good and it's a neat way of doing things. How do you do the compositing in hitfilm - it is like greenscreen?
BTW - there's a cool new update out for flowscape - which adds castles and buildings.

I asked the maker of flowscape and he says it is fine to use for commercial products. No restrictions on screencaps from the software. will be great for quick backgroudns in my comic. Love esther
