Does anyone know what texture Blackhearted is using on his HD morph La Femme character? Is this something that's going to be available as it's so much better looking than the base she comes with. Just curious.

I had asked in another thread about the skin texture you’re using Blackhearted, is it something you will be releasing or is it based on the default La Femme’s texture from Rhiannon?
I’m definitely in hopes more vendors come out to support her as she’s the best looking stand alone figure for poser I’ve seen to date especially with BH’s HD morphs. Well done, I hope she finds success.
Thanks. And yes - I'll be releasing a texture/character set but I'm taking my time with it to make sure I get it right.
As for the HD Morphs - I never actually considered this until a few people asked me in PMs about it: there's no 'preset' character included because I figured that this time around I'd give everyone the flexibility to create something to their own tastes. So if you don't like the muscular quadriceps, for example, then simply don't load them or turn the dial down to a lower strength. So for anyone wondering, virtually all of my renders are all of the HD Morphs set to 1.0, and usually the MegaLashes and BreastsFlat morphs as well. Ladies with small boobs need representation too ?

Ok I really really really want to love La Femme... And I appreciate the work everyone has put into her...
But... I personally find her virtually unusable. As a poser user I have been using V4 for years obviously... so I am so keen for a new figure to take it to the Daz only figures.
In the promo figures La Femme looks Great.... but to use... just incredibly awkward and painful.
1: There is no way to select the neck or head except through directly clicking on it you can't use the menu. This is a strange approach?
2: There is just too much complexity with facial expressions. I know the team is trying to include everything but that just makes it over complicated to do something simple. it takes hours to compose a quizzical expression. It take me seconds with V4.
3: Her legs and feet... I'm sorry... bandy legs and tiny feet? And a thigh gap you could fly a plane through. She looks weird not attractive. Her top half is great... her head a bit meh, but can be worked on... but her legs...
4: Whats with having most of her body parts listed as a prop? Its incredibly hard to find and select and if you have a prop attached they sit at the bottom of a massive list.
I have to conclude that again we have a figure here that is really great for those that want to spend hours and hours on an individual pose and image and for professional artists who are wanting to tweak their figure for days to get it just right... But that will not help the figure in the general market. She is clunky, over complex and hard to use and does not look at all attractive, just distorted and weird. I'm sorry but for me she currently joins the long list of "also ran" figures in my collection. That means she will not get the market support and will fade away. That is sad. I have noticed most of her clothing is dynamic... yep again great for the one shot purists but not for those of us that need art in a quick way.
I hope she can be improved, simplified, and her legs made more human and attractive. I want her to succeed... but right now I regret buying the figure accessories, she was a waste of my money. I should have downloaded her for free first and tried her out.

Correction

I have found the head and neck buried at the end of 3 menu screens from the "chest parts" through to the head and then individual areas are under head parts... still very time consuming to use.

Impossible to to keep everyone satiesfied. For those that want quick and simple it might be best to stick with the old figures they are used to.

@ DalekSupreme: That is a Poser feature, not a figure issue. Go to General Preferences and click on the Interface tab. On the left side of the window, the third panel down entitled 'Object Popup Menu', 'Hierarchical Threshold', change the number to 100 or higher. When you open the menu to select body parts, everything will be listed in one long column. Personally, this is a pain because you need to scroll down the list to reach the lower extremities. I usually keep that number to around 20.
