Hi, on rival 3d sites they usually say what you can and can't do with each model you purchase,,I can't find this info on the models pages here, any help would be great! Thanks, Mark.

Usually, that is spelled out in the readme file which should be linked on the product page.

Very kind, thanks for both replies.

This reminds me of a related question I had: The Standard License covers commercial and not-commercial 2d-renders of the licensed item(s). To use the actual mesh in a product, we must use extended license, encryption, etc to protect the item from being removed, reverse-engineered and redistributed. Is it OK on standard license to make 2d rendered sprites of the item for use in some sort of interactive product or presentation? No mesh, no textures, no part of actual item is embedded in the product, strictly 2d rendered sprites derived from the item's permitted use under standard license.

I asked that over on DAZ and 2D Sprites were fine under the standard license. You had all the rights to use your render as you pleased. Of course this place isn't DAZ ;)

That's good to know. Thanks @FlagonsWorkshop! Hopefully Jenn or Preston will stop by soon and answer for Rendo. :)

I used sitemail and received a reply from Jenn. I quote,
Yes, that is allowed. ? 2D rendered images and even animations you post are fine as the viewers have no way to obtain the obj or other proprietary information from the models/products.
That's good news. Thank you, Jenn!
