Let me add this little bit. What i am seeking recommends for is how would you set these up for network renders? Which would you use as the main PC and which would be the render cows.

Bump Any help here, even I am interested to set up a mini render farm, but have no clue which will work with Vue 2014 and how to set it up?

I do some network rendering with Vue. I use my most powerful computer(I7-4770) as the main Vue computer and the lesser PCs as render nnodes (I5-2500K & AMD 8320)

Can you guide us how to setup the machines?

The first thing is to find the rendercow setup on your install CD and then install rendercow onto the two other computers that do not have Vue installed onto them.

Well never had the install cd, I downloaded the software from the website directly. So basically render cow is installed, then what next, how do we connect the computers together?
