only been waiting for this for... um... yeah. :X
okay, so i'm working in second life creating avatars, and they use dae format. it would be nice for me to be able to convert my avatars to poser figures (and vice versa), without having to re-do everything. i just looked at the poser and DS spec pages and all, they don't mention anything about import/export, except a bit about obj and max files and stuff.
so... no? :/
i'm guessing?
still hoping...?
maybe someday???
(yeah, when the universe finally works right for me.)

Yes Poser/DAZ Studio can import Collada (DAE) file format for sometime I know Poser pro can since 2010 usually DAE are compared to FBX since they are Autodesk native file format there are numerous tutorials on Youtube that walk you thru how to import DAE's into either Poser or Daz

I would check the EULA on those figures you're trying to import into Second Life. I know it's a violation of DAZ's to import any of their content into that program.

No Second Life with assets from Rendo either. From the rendo EULA: The Buyer shall not store the Product any place where it could be used by another person or party. This includes not using in Second Life or other virtual worlds or in real-time rendering game where the Product files and license could be transferred to another person.
