I don't know what happened tonight, but this image has just gone together easily. It's the first thing I've tried in this style, and comments are welcome as usual. The arm idea hit me about a month ago when I woke up having a little nosebleed and the blood had dripped on my arm this way. (Thanx 2 my better half who hated posing for this!) The birds were gulls (well sort of - can't remember exactly which bird they are) taken at a nice town called Kendal in the Lake District (UK). They decided to flock and greed the bread people were throwing in for the ducks. Lyrics from a song by The Smiths, and the picture dedicated to 'Angel' who knows who they are. Thanx. Mike.

Great image MJ. I just returned today from a short holiday in the Lake District. Those birds are still there.

Thanx, guys! An idea for a related image is starting to take shape in my mind at the moment - just waiting for it to 'click' and I'll get started..... p.s. Jack, could you get Kendal Mint Cake while you were there? We had LOADS of trouble finding somewhere that sold it!

Now you tell me. I never even heard of Kendal mint cake and just as well. We stayed at a remote farmhouse where the food was great and after an all-in breakfast I couldn't eat anything until dinner time. I still put on lbs. Here's an image to bring back your memories. It is Bowness, Lake Windermere, Cumbria, UK. Enjoy

LOL - This really brings back memories! When I was 16 me and a mate did a 6-day 800 mile tour on Mopeds - 35mph top speed! We parked up at the car park just beside this bit and when we came back to our 'peds a Proper Biker was there with his Harley and loads of kids around him going 'oooh' and 'aaaah'. We felt a touch belittled and waited until he'd gone before we went back to get our little machines.....
