I've been working on these using the new strand based hair to get the fur effect. I'll admit I'm on the fence about releasing... the strand based hair makes them a bit more complicated to use than regular G8F garments.

I think it looks great, the only issue I see is whether or not they are going to catch dinner. The one on the left seems determined so we might be ok.

Thanks. 😄 The fur clothing based on strand based hair loads and fits differently than Daz clothing usually works, and the scene hierarchy is messy because the hair for each garment appears as a separate item, despite being associated with its garment. I'm finishing up the footware now, then I'll send it to QC and see what they think.

I'd pick it up just to see how it works. Whether I bought further products along those lines would depend on how much I have to do to get it to work in a scene. It's a pretty interesting concept.

Picked up a copy of it. It's probably going to be next weekend before I get to play with it much ;)

I think it looks great. I want to pick it up sometime soon. How much does the fur affect render times out of interest?

It depends on the image size, number of scene lights, etc. (the usual stuff) but it will increase render times. In my testing, single figure with the shawl, long skirt, and boots, HDR lighting and image size 2000x1600; using leather only clothing completed in a bit under 3 minutes, while with the hair took about 17.5 minutes. This was with a GTX1070 8gig VRAM, iray.
