What happened to the search filters? The dropdowns for software, file type, character, etc. Even the old search doesn't have it anymore.

Where on the site are you searching? Can you post a link or a screenshot?

When you type something in the search box at the top of all the pages.

This is currently in testing. Thank you.

Sorry to ask but what would they be testing?! The Search is useless without the filters. Say you are searching for a hat. You need to know whether its for poser, studio, vue, etc and what character its for. I don't want to wade thru a thousand hats that I can't use. I really don't know why Renderosity bothered buying Poser. 99% of all new products here now are for daz studio and I can't even search for poser. Boy this site has sure changed alot in 20 years.

I must admit I was taken aback by the changes to the search engine. I would normally do a search by artist for example Rhiannon. It would bring up all of her assets as well as those that had done texture packs for her assets etc. On the artist drop down I could tag Rhiannon only to see her assets only. Now I seem to get everything including assets that have used Rhiannon assets in prmo shotsd etc.To me this is majot step backwards in functionality and ease of use. I hope tjhis change is reversed. Or at least have the option to use the old search (including the old functionailty) not just the new search in the old style. I am all for progress and not agfainst change as long as it is an improvement, not a downgrade.

Management probably did this intentionally. They want you to slog through a lot of unnecessary products in hopes you make an impulse buy. My impulse is to stop shopping.

Actually this happened when we were working on integrating the search in Poser Software. It has been fixed.
