Globe glass turns black when rendering. what should i do to get glass. I tried all sorts of things, but when rendering, the glass remains black and I don't see genes 8 female in the globe. Who knows a solution for this? Thank you. Greetings Elly from Holland zie mijn voorbeeld;

There should be a glass shader example for 3Delight in your Shader Mixer folder. Is that the one you are using on the sphere? Though you may want to turn the index of refraction down a bit for something like this scene.
Remember also that glass and reflective materials are very dependant on what is in the scene to see. The reflection of nothing will be nothing. So try to get your object into a more real world type scene such as a room with some lighting added and I think it will come alive much more.

Also check the Max ray-trace depth in render settings (under 'sampling') - it'll need about 4 for most situations with glass (light entering and exiting twice to come from behind the glass). Also make sure that the glass and whatever it's reflecting is sufficiently lit.

To apply a shader both the object and the surface of the object must be selected.
