I have Poser 11 Pro which I bought from Smith Micro. I use it but less often than I used to. I only just found out that Renderosity has bought Poser.
My Poser installation still works but it was activated using Smith Micro's online registration system. Will I have to do anything to transfer my licence to Renderosity to make sure it keeps working? Will I have to buy it again to keep using it?
Also, the Smith Micro download manager still connects but if they are dropping Poser I assume they will eventually switch this off. Will I need to replace this with something else?
Regards Peter Wade

ATM, early adopters to the Poser Pro 11 build 11.2 are reporting any bugs that are cropping up so that the official update can go as smoothly and trouble-free as possible. As of September 16th, you will be required to re-download the new version and re-install using your current license key. If you fail to update, your older version will not work. No need to re-purchase the software.

Thank you for the clarification.
Do I redownload using the Smith Micro Downloader, some other downloader or do I get it from your website?

ATM, we are downloading from a separate website but we were encouraged to re-download the SM Downloader in case we needed to revert to the last SM build. Instructions are forthwith when the official release happens.

Reverting will not be possible after the final release for ALL users. You won't need to do that.
