I've never heard of that.

Considering that La Femme was released less than a year ago, and they claim to be working on a male counterpart, I seriously hope there's no development of a LF2 happening right now.

I don't believe so, but can never know for certain. Especially once development on Poser 12 starts and things change and grow.

But I do not believe there is an update in the works for La Femme at this time, other than the La Femme Education version that was released this week.

Yes, I recall RPublishing talking about a La Femme 2.0.

Honestly all I've seen were mentions that, in the future, there could be new versions. I don't think that's coming any time soon.

We haven't had her counterpart yet.

Not even a year since La Femme was released. Gabriel mailed me about it at the end of January, a week or so before it was due out.

Maybe you mean La Femme Lite that's included in the new upgrade?

hborre posted Sun, 22 September 2019 at 9:29 PM

I don't know if any early-adopters noticed, but there was a Le Homme folder in the update runtime.

Maybe you’re thinking of Dawn 2.0, which is in the works.

BernieFB posted Mon, 23 September 2019 at 4:27 AM

Somebody please tell the company it should be written as "L'Homme"!

I was about to say the same. A certain someone has mentioned it as well.

"L'Homme" has been mentioned, but the ' would be a problem with file naming.

Do you mean for Mac users? Windows 7 users? I have no problem labelling my files with an apostrophe in Windows 10. I can't use / : * ? < > " and |.

Afrodite-Ohki posted Mon, 23 September 2019 at 7:13 PM

Huh, I could swear windows 10 has problems with it, but then again - I've avoided putting any form of punctuation or special characters in file names since forever, as I started with Windows 3.11 and it would melt down with those 😂

But I believe Mac has a problem with them. Or Poser. I do know that I've seen people mention L'Homme here in the forums and someone mention it would cause file naming issues.

There was a mention on front of Renderosity Home Page about a week or so back that were working on a La Femme 2 in which will have to be a paid version when released. I think it has been removed. Cheers

Whatever the next figure is, I hope they center the eyes in their sockets a bit better. La Femme's eye balls are too close together. I was starting to work with her today and spotted that immediately. So if a guy is in the works, be aware of his eye placement! :D

Eight months ago there was an official Renderosity video on YouTube, from Nerd3D, titled "Getting high heels to fit La Femme 1 for Poser 11". That definitely implies he was thinking there would be a 'Femme 2' in the near future.

Leaving the road open for future new versions doesn't mean a new version is coming soon.
