I noticed that you now seem to include weblinks to vendor pages within the runtime library. Not a bad thing in itself, as I'm sure there are some (maybe many) people who will appreciate that feature.
However, I (and perhaps others) prefer not to have weblinks in my runtime.
Unfortunately, because you've created them as CR2 (or more precisely CRZ) files and put them in the same runtime library folder as genuine content CR2 files there's no easy way for me to simply do a search for weblink files and remove them.
I recall the good old days when weblinks were restricted to a 'WebLinks' folder. Or maybe my memory's going wonky?

Oh...no. I don't like that at all... I can find my own damn way to the store, thank you very much.

This has been discussed on another thread https://www.renderosity.com/mod/forumpro/?thread_id=2937849 . All the new content has been donated free by the vendors, mostly stuff that has straight out of the store,,as their way of helping poser move forward. These links are a minor compensation to say thank you to them.
But as pointed out on that thread, it seems too much for poser uses to be grateful for this rather than complain about a very minor inconvenience,

Thanks for the link to the other thread - I'd assumed that the reason was something along those lines.
And you're absolutely right - having links intermingled with content files is indeed a very minor inconvenience.
"...it seems too much for poser uses to be grateful for this rather than complain..." - Indeed it does. I'm still waiting for my 'grumpy old curmudgeon' forum badge ! ;o)
P.S. I almost forgot to say thank you to SAV, 3Dream and all the others for their generosity. And that's a genuine thank you... I'm not really such a grumpy old curmudgeon.

Since i am not a big Poser user, I will take your smarmy and pointedly passive aggressive comment with a grain of salt. However, you didn't REALLY have to get so rude. I was just saying I didn't like the way they did that. A dedicated folder for it is much better than scattering it throughout my Runtime. Numerous connections having to be made throughout the applications to different addresses runs up my bandwidth. Its no wonder Malwarbytes tagged it as Ransomware. Next time, try being polite. It goes a lot further.

Be careful of the weblinks disguised with category formats (i.e., PP2, hr2, etc), they actually do nothing but lock up your application. It looks like Bondware may have eliminated these files, but I did encounter them during early-adopter and haven't seen them since final release.

I just deleted those files, which are recognizable by their very small file size (or I open them in BBEdit to verify it's just a link to the ContributorDirectory.pyc script). I very much appreciate all the Content Vendors who donated content for the Poser 11.2 update, and their generosity makes me even more likely to purchase from them in the future. But I would do so by going to the Renderosity store and searching for them by name.
I'd never use a library file to get there, esp. when the library file just calls a script that's already available under the Help: Poser Content Web Links menu. But maybe others would, so I guess I don't mind that they're included, given that it's a relatively simple matter to just delete them. I also organize my library content folders by figure or prop-type rather than by vendor, and I don't mind that I have to do that manually as there must be a good reason for the way they're organized by default!
I'm just glad that it's possible to customize library content folders so extensively, so that I always know where everything is and never need to use the library's "Search" function.

I agree whole-heartedly, and have deleted them all. I have a long group of browser links to the vendors at Renderosity on my go-to list, IOW those who I purchase from regularly.
As far as Renderosity wanting Poser users to recognize who the vendors are that donated the content available with the Poser updates, that's great, but there must be a better way to do so, because as far as I'm concerned, this is more than just a minor inconvenience. I hate having to dig down into subfolders to get to what I want, and that's exactly what's happened with those vendor links, because the actual content is another folder down..

I appreciate the donations. And I think the least they deserve is a link to their store. However, I think the links should have been put in a separate folder labeled "store links for awesome donating vendors." or at least have "store link" as an overlay on the thumbnails. Some people have limited bandwidth and don't need to be using it up on a hidden link accidentally.

Haha I just updated to 11.2 and saw that and thought it was kind of a strange thing to do. I don't usually use the default Runtime for anything so it doesn't bother me. But the thought that came to mind when clicking was: "Ive been deceived!"
They should at the very least give these a different looking icon to differentiate, but definitely a separate file type. Otherwise I feel like this is going to go down a path that makes me concerned for the future of .cr2 files in general.

Seriously... This should be part of the metadata to every single thing. Link to original product, link to vendor. And when details of the product are displayed, those links are there. When you see properties of the object, the link to product page and vendor page should be there in the GUI. And, if the product page had easy to find "additional stuff for the product" like morphs or textures, I see properties, click on "product page" it opens in browser, I see a list of "related" and buy addition poses or morphs or textures right there, and it installs them, ask me if I want to use them right now, I say yes, refreshes my runtime, opens the new stuff, I can double click and apply. All taking almost no time, and not interrupting my workflow at all. Just sayin'

Metadata. A CR2 is a silly place to put metadata. Still just sayin' :D
I appreciate the additional content and got why they added those CR2s. Hardly felt I could complain when they're giving the stuff away for free.
But they gunk up a huge and meticulously arranged runtime. So I grep'd them into oblivion. Did buy some additional stuff to go with the freebies. 1) there's cool stuff. and 2) it's only polite. I want to support vendors who support software I use. Call me crazy (most everyone does)
