Aside from the biggest issue (the system seems to freeze for a full minute for every single action navigating the OS, the exact same time it takes to open the program, and will not even accept a forced quit during this time) there is another issue where any floating windows in Poser are always on top, even when another application is active. The only way to see the active application is to close Poser's floating windows or hide Poser. Is anyone else experiencing this?

I have one floating window - the 'dots'.
If I open any other app while Poser is open, then the 'dots' panel hovers over the other app's page. or the Desktop (Mac). Daft, I call it. But I can put up with it while THEY get it sorted.

A couple of other people have reported this. Both the slowness and issue with floating palettes. All Mac users, so far as I know.

All 'floating' windows do this on the Mac. Attached screenshot of what happened while I was running Poser and opened Firefox to check a reference.

Thanks! I won't install the newest update that I just downloaded.

Yesterday, we reverted a Mac-specific code change that lead to this issue. It is available behind the license wall in the Beta Installers section: https://www.posersoftware.com/downloads/access
We will move fix thru to production as soon as we have confirmation that it solves the reported issues.

Some background, the dev team is working to bring Poser's mac dev environment (xCode, etc) up to current versions/standards. Once this is complete, it will be much easier to work on UI improvements for mac.

A new download of the installers has appeared for Mac.

The new version is 11.2.289. I had the registration box appear and prevent launch the first two times, but the third and fourth times everything was OK.

My latest version, downloaded yesterday, is 11.2.286. Since you're an Early Adopter Rob, wouldn't the version you have been a "nightly build"?
I noticed on the download page the "general" update is dated 09/16/19 at 5:09pm, BUT at the bottom of the Content download page are Beta Installers, dated 09/16/19 at 10:09pm. I'm assuming that's the download, latest update, you're referring to?
