Hello, Went into Poser (11.2) and a message box appeared telling me a newer version was available. Went to the download page, the files looked the same but were dated yesterday. Downloaded and installed. Poser went from 11.2.276 to 11.2. 289. Any idea what's been changed? Noel

I am still on .271! Thanks for the tips on the incrementals. No alert-bell is ringing for me, though, and no messages about .278 and .289 when I click the bell.
I have "Check for Updates on Launch" turned off, though. Clicking the "Check" button (Top menu | Edit | General Preferences | Misc tab | Software Update) got it for me.
So the 'update' which Poser 11 sends me to is... the main installers page? No sign of an update package there, and no sign of one in the serial-number protected folder either.
I thus assume that we now have to re-download the 1.2Gb "Install Poser 11.exe" for each and every incremental upgrade? That's a bit of a drag, and also a risk, as presumably every time there's a risk that the user forgets to tick "Use Existing Preference Files" and thus has their custom stuff wiped.
So yes... we need to know what's changed in a proper rolling public Changelog. So that we can tell if it's worth the bother and risk.
I also see the new addition of "Beta" installers. I'd also like to know what's in those, if anyone knows.

the beta installers are for the beta testers, you download those at your own risk

I have a mind to wait for a while. If i start downloading gigs and gigs of updates every few days, my service provider will no doubt have a notion that i am 'ripping movies'.
Yes, a brief synopsis of the patches and bug fixes with each update would be reassuring instead of leaning on the side of assumption and blind faith. A call for a changelog is needed.
..And then perhaps an internal Poser UV mapping program within update number .989?..
Pat :)

I updated from 11.2.272 to 11.2.286. Only change I saw is that PhilC/Wardrobe Wizard disappeared from my scripts menu. It was still in my Python Scripts folder, though, and I dropped it back in the scriptsmenu folder. (Even have my Poser 11 Standard runtime backed up for cases like this. Apparently there was a Wardrobe Wizard folder there all of the time...)
I understand the plug-in is no longer supported but I can live with that.
