I'm considering a new graphics card. Remembering that I use Poser Pro 2019, is there any substantive reason to prefer an NVIDIA GTX 1050 to a Radeon RX 560? I know nothing about graphics cards. Poser Pro 2014 uses the CPU to render, so it would seem that any good card would do the trick. Or am i just displaying my ignorance? Thanks to all helpful replies.

It looks like you could spend the extra thirty bucks on a better Nvidia. The GTX appears better for less money. Still, there are the results I found. I'm using a Radeon r7 and my scores are quite low. Good for general computing but nothing special. You might also look at your display. The GTX appears to last a little longer but I say bump it up a notch. There is nothing like a great graphics card. Make sure you consider the overall colors as well. What you see is the final determiner. I had a dedicated Graphics Laptop that burned out the GPU twice but man...It just rocked!
You could also spend the extra thirty bucks on a great lobster dinner or a movie but this is a better long term investment if you're being selfish.

Thanks a million, quietrob. It honestly seems that there isn't all that much to choose. I didn't know about userbencmark; it's a resource I'll keep in mind. Thanks again.

Glad I could help! Check back in the morning. By then the real pros can give you their opinion but at least you have a good starting point. Gotta get back to work!
