Long Story Short: I downloaded a bunch of zips from here. I KNOW I put them in the right folder. They aren't showing up in the DAZ library. I don't know what to do :(

If you are sure they are in the correct folder, did you restart DS as the content library will need to be refreshed. You can also right click on the library and click refresh.
As DS used map folders it is important they are in the correct folder and not installed in a nested fashion as in not My Daz 3DLibrary/My Daz 3DLibrary/Product.
Are these zips specific for DS if they are for Poser you will find them under Poser formats
Where did you intall them to?

All of the files have been properly sorted into the library and aren't nested in unnecessary folders. All content was DAZ and was installed to C:Users|Public|Documents|My DAZ 3D Library . Refreshing didn't seem to work :(

Can you give me an example of what zip files you are using?
And you're sure that the C:Users|Public|Documents|My DAZ 3D Library is a mapped folder within DS?

Unneeded folders would include the /Content folder at the root of many zips here - the Data and Runtime folders from the zip, and any other sibling folders, must be directly in the My Daz 3d Library folder. It's really hard to troubleshoot issues like this without more details of where things ended up.

I came in here to ask a similar question. I searched the forum first. I discovered in this thread that I had to create a link to the runtime directory under the POSER FORMATS option in the Content Library tab. I'd done this for the DAZ FORMATS, but didn't realize I needed to do so in the POSER section, as well.. It was driving me crazy that the Daz Formats option wouldn't show the Runtime folder that File Manager could see and CLEARLY SHOWED had my content in it. I added the Runtimes in my two 3rd-party libraries under the Poser Formats option. ... There's my missing content! Now, to go learn how to use all the new goodies I've been accumulating... Thanks to the folks who took the time to chime in on this and do so in a way that tipped me off to checking the Poser options in my Content Library tab.
