Which version of poser are you using? If using poser11, 11pro or 2014game dev have you upgraded to 11.2, a free upgrade?

Have you updated to the new upgrade so Poser will redirect to Bondware as it's new server? IF not, Bondware (Renderostiy) is the new owner of Poser and please go to: Poser Home Page
Please feel free to come here or to the official Poser Forum to learn all the information you need about the downloads ... and the wonderful NEW free content that comes with it.

Poser has changed hands, it is no longer the property of Smith-Micro. It is now the property of Bondware/Renderosity. In order to get a working copy, you will need to download the free update from https://www.posersoftware.com/downloads. You will need both Install Poser.exe and support files to get started. If you have customized your Poser in any way, make sure that during the installation, select use existing preferences to preserve those changes. If you have your SN handy, download the extra content. Otherwise, you should be able to obtain it through Poser.

Yes. I had the 11.2.291 update. This is what crashed. I gather then that I should reinstall it.

Okay, so I'v reinstalled twice and gotten the same message. I checked the programs in Control Panel and noticed that my Poser 2014 is still there would that make a difference. Also should I uninstall all versions of Poser from the Control Panel before attempting to reinstall?

If you previously own Poser 2014, it is not part of the update deal. Only Poser 11, Poser 11 Pro, and Poser 2014 Game Developer are eligible for updating/upgrading. Your Poser 2014 has a permanent license and it is not affected by the Smith-Micro/Bondware transition. I have both Poser 11 Pro and Poser Pro 2014 on my computer and only the Poser 11 Pro is updated. Please verify that you indeed own Poser 11, otherwise, you will need purchase an upgrade to your Poser 2014.

Penelope, try using geek uninstaller to uninstall - poser 2014 should not interfere with P11. then try reinstalling - sitemail me if the problem persists.

Thank you so much. I used the uninstaller and took off Poser 2014 and Poser Pro 11 and its update then reinstalled it. Everything is back on track!
