I have had this url open twice in a new window(chrome) when I went to galleries and tried to select upload your art. I really do not like urls opening when I try and use a web site that I have respected for better than 16 years

Richard, this is all on your end, sir. Something's taking over your browser and whitelisted itself from the popups blocklist. Use another device to browse, like your phone and you'll see there's a problem within your browser. Sometimes after an update, browser update, some add-ons that used to work in the older version, like ad blockers, are not supported in the newer updated version, therefore some extensions are disabled.

I added to sites blocked. at one or more times I recall Renderosity having a link for the same url mentioning their meeting schedule
