I got the new Rendo version when it was launched, set it up how I wanted and carried on. Yesterday, I decided to update it, since there's a newer version which apparently cures the "random delete of previously saved renders and/or randomly replace previously deleted renders" bug.
Any road up, without thinking, I let the bugger remove me previous version and reinstall. Now I've lost all me settings and a bunch of renders I hadn't saved out. Anyone know where I can find 'em, or have I completely bollocksed it?

They are saved under C:Users>name>AppData>Roaming>Poser Pro>11>RenderCache
You can at least copy the files to a secure location to make certain they don't get wiped out. Then when you get your Poser up and running again....you should be able to put them back.

Oh, I already have it up and running. Had to do a bit of an arse backwards way of getting my prefs back, though. I loaded a scene that used most of my default settings - I do a lot of test renders - and deleted the figures, repositioned the camera, then saved preferred scene, so at least I have that back.
Now I have to find where Snarly's EZSkin prefs are at, since the new install kindly trashed all of those.
Thanks for the heads up on finding the renders, though. I'll hunt the buggers down now. A-hunting we will go...

Whenever you update from a previous install, make sure that you select the option to retain your custom preferences.

I'll make sure I remember in future. Oh well, got me renders back and most of me prefs.
Tell you what, though... Poser seems a heck of a lot slower now. Opening folders in the Libraries takes forever, as does refresh when you add anything. Render seems to be acting a bit weird, too; I converted a hair using EZSkin's hair shader and for some bizarre reason, SSS ain't picking it up. Never happened before.

You can backup your preferred state - and then use this script ( read the instructions ) to bring it back should you accidentally overwrite your current one.

For some odd reason the panel never offers me that option! (iMac)

Yeah, I think thats a PC only thing. What I've been doing is making a duplicate Poser, saving the prior version elsewhere, and letting the update do its thing on the copy in the Applications menu.
