I'm new to the script but I've been trying to follow the manual. When I try to import PE's base hair I get a weird message "Evolution_Hair_v1.1 nest pas un nom de composant correct."
Sounds like it may be french and I could probably just google translate it, but I thought I'd ask here first and get a reply on how to not get the "om nom"s.

the error is saying that Evolution_Hair_v1.1 is not a correct component name, perhaps remove the ".1" from the name, and see if that fixes it

That seems to get rid of that specific message, but now I get "Memoire insuffisante". I can figure out that means there's some type of memory issue but with 64gb of ram and 45.9GB being free when I get that message, it's not the system memory it's talking about.

Well, it is...the program is 32-bit and can only address a little less than 4 gig of RAM. I get these errors all the time on high poly figures. I have found that hiding everything in the scene that isn't necessary to the simulation from the hierarchy panel clears it up a lot of the time. The script seems to gather object info even before you designate collider and cloth objects or something. Not sure why it works, but it does a lot of the time.
