This thread is intended to promote Poser animation, and to help publicise the work of those who make it. Poser animation is especially thin on the ground, and often, those uploading their work to Vimeo and YouTube, do not help matters when they fail to label their animation with names like "Poser" and "Animation". I know of a whole bunch of animations that were made in Poser some years back, that have proven impossible to find due to this very reason.
So regardless of age, regardless of quality, regardless of subject, please post Vimeo and Youtube links to Poser animations, along with a short description of what the animation is about (and any relevant Language, Violence, and Nudity tag the animation might require). We are spoilt for choice when it comes to threads showcasing stills work made in Poser. And while a still image can tell a story, there are no threads whatsoever doing the same for animation made in Poser, and animations tell stories too, you know!
This thread is NOT for discussing animation technique or ANYTHING else, so please stay on topic. A post in this thread should ideally contain a link and description, but nothing else, so that readers of the thread will have a nice, clean, reference of Poser animations to look at. I'm hoping it will unearth some lost gems, animations that tell a story, as well as increase the interest in animating in Poser. I also hope it will encourage others to animate in Poser through having somewhere dedicated to showcase their Poser animation work.
I do strongly believe that the more a person watches animation, the more that person will be tempted to make their own stories, shorts, and movies, using Poser's animation tools.

TITLE - Planet of Eternal Damnation
DESCRIPTION - Never assume that being brave enough to visit the Planet of Eternal Damnation, is any guarantee that you will leave with what you want. It is, after all, the Planet of Eternal Damnation. This animation by Mark Cotterell uses TTS for the voices, and has a very detailed End Titles sequence.

TITLE - Replicant XL7B
DESCRIPTION - Eberhard Teske has made clever use of rotoscoping, live action, animation, and compositing to merge real life actors/actress into a Poser-rendered environment, where even the lead character is often substituted with a CGI character.

TITLE - Peeping Tom's Paradise
DESCRIPTION - Now back in the day, Posette was the woman, and Dork was the man. And just like every other male figure that came after him, Dork had itches that needed to be sctratched. Now granted, he got beat-up in the end, but regardless, you have to admire poor Dork's determination to land the right sort of job, with the right sort of access. Dork became a true master of the ventilation shaft network, clearly demonstrated in this animation by Mary Shelley.

TITLE - Kitty Hunt
DESCRIPTION - This fun, silent animation short from Stimuli was the creator's debut animation and was completely hand animated. Some really nice movement and animation technnique here, demonstrated by someone who clearly has a grasp of animating.

A few of my experiments in poser animation (some nudity).
The strong do as they can while the weak do as they must.

A fantastic post Retro...After 20 years of learning Poser (and still learning at 76 years of age) a list of Poser Animations is a great idea.

Link to a Video I and my son made several years ago for a class he was taking at the time. Several of the scenes were not finished as there was a time constraint. however there are several neat effects that could not done in real life such as the slam cut from the chair to the bed. If anyone is curious I can explain how it was done, although it would be fun to see if anyone can guess how to do it.

Some have said poser is not good for making animations and they are wrong. It is very easy to use and with a little effort makes very decent animatins.
