At some point recently, Poser stopped caching my last render. I used to be able to partially render a scene and then go back and area render until it was finished, since it takes me hours and hours to render a full pic and I can't have my only computer tied up that long. I just lost 6 hours of rendering, it has just completely dumped the last render I did and what's on the render tab is the next to last spot render from testing. It's done this before, I just forgot it was doing that. It also only caches ONE render. What is the point of having all these timestamped cache points if there's no images attached to them? Something must be wrong. It's never saved more than about five or six old renders but this new thing of dumping the very last thing I did is horrible. I have 11.2.276 in on Windows 7.

To put your mind at ease for now: Poser actually stores images reliably. If it doesn't work for you, it will most likely not be a problem Poser causes.

What about disk space?

I have plenty of disk space. It just suddenly stopped saving the very last thing I render. It will save several renders previous to the last one. I could go in and do 5 test renders right now and it will save the first four of them.

What happens if you close the preview-tab after a render and open it again? Does the last render exist in the folder and is just not shown by Poser? Maybe it helps if you use file-explorer to delete anything in the preview-folder. And you should make sure that access rights for the directory are correct.

11.2.276. I must've missed the notification of an update, I'll go look. Thank you.

@RedPhantom--that was it. Updating fixed it. I did a handful of spot renders, closed the program, re-opened it, and all of them including the last one were there. What a weird glitch to let me know I needed to update! Thanks for the nudge.
