Subject: 44 Hours and 88%

What's the longest render you've ever completed? Two days ago I started a render, and right now, 44 hours, and some change, later, my render is at 88% and looking awesome! I will add, however, that I did find one mistake while panning around the rendering scene, but an easy fix in post production. At least that's what I've been telling myself for the past 36 hours. lol

Dang.. No reason why a render should take this long...:(

How large (pixel dimensions) is the image? What have you got packed into it? What is the renderer doing (eg reflection, refraction, shadow calculation, etc)?

It's dark. lol And it's probably doing everything you mentioned. I actually stopped it at 90% (46hrs. later) and it actually looks really good; I just didn't feel like tying up my computer any longer.

I understand. That's a lot of render time! Are you going to post the picture somewhere? Would be nice to see!

I will post it in my gallery, here. I want to do a little post-pro first.

Cool! I look forward to seeing :)

Alright, Torquinox, I finally uploaded the render to my gallery this morning. Sorry for the long wait ;) https://www.renderosity.com/mod/gallery/?image_id=2931046
