I exported the default Poser 4 woman with some clothes to Bryce as a Wavefront file. It worked well before I saved the file and opened it again. After that it looked like this.. Where's the problem? I tried other file formats too but the clothes didn't work properly with them..

I just tried changing the material and family of her shoes.. and after saving and loading, the shoes were messed up but the rest of the figure was normal.. I wonder why it does that..?

You're joking, right? ;) If not, you've discovered a handy shortcut for doing 3D cubism!

Wow! - thats excellent! - you could be the Picasso of the Bryce community! :D ..sorry, couldnt resist it! (regains composure) - other than this being a wind-up!? - I am perplexed by this based on what you have said, but I have had a strange glitch which messes up the meshes when any animation keyframes have been used in objects in a scene. I have previously copied an object from one scene to another etc. and then hit the play button only to see my beuatiful constructions fly apart/shrink/explode in some insane manner. I assume you are using a 'clean' document each time!? - with no keyframe remnants etc in it!? - its a possibility! - If you can easily do so, ditch the preferences file for Bryce or even re-install it as well.

I experimented with this a bit.. and it worked well before I rotated and resized the woman.. After that I saved and loaded.. and Bryce had ripped her dress into pieces, which was not very nice.. lol .. (I grouped the the objects before rotating them, so it's not because of that) This is not the first time I've had this problem, but earlier it wasn't this bad. I was quite surprised when I found a tree growing from the wheel of my car.. lol

Just wondering. Did you do any manipulation of the obj file before importing to Bryce? Almost looks like it had been run through some kind of stripper/compressor to remove info.

Heh...you could stick that in a Dali like rendering. I have had Bryce do really weird and annoying things but, that has to take the cake.

I didn't do anything to the file between exporting and importing.. and the objects were ok when I imported then.. So it's because of Bryce.. I have Rhino too and I tried importing the figure to Rhino first. Unfortunately Rhino can't read Wavefront files.. and with other formats the clothes and hair didn't stay in their places.
