HI all

I finally recieved my computer that I ordered Before Corona hit Europé.(February). The old computer is in for a retirement. Will it cause any problems with Licenses and so on to simply uninstall Poser from the old and reinstall on the new puter with the same serial number?

You can install it without issue on the new computer. As long as you are installing with the installers found HERE and there is no need to uninstall it from the old computer, unless you intend to sell it or give it to someone else to use. 😄

I have poser 10 just switched to an Acer d7 as my HP broke. Icons for rooms content dials etc are all to small to see. Does anyone know how to fix this thanks

Edit; General Preferences; UI Scale factor. Maybe increase it to 1.2 or 1.3 and restart Poser.image.png

If you do not have that option in Poser 10, then look up "Fixing High DPI Issues in Windows 10" online. There will be advice on how to turn off high DPI scaling for an application by making a change in the application shortcut.

Same thing new computer, what about your assets? Can you just copy your files to the new computer? I have a ton of stuff I bought on Renderosity.com I don't want to lose them..

Whatever runtimes you have on your old computer can be copied over, you just need to relink to Poser again unless they're going into the Poser Content folder which is already linked.

I have all my runtimes on an external drive so when I got my current 'puter, I just plugged it in and relinked the runtimes. Make sure you have a folder above the one named Runtime, and that's what you select when relinking. Same when you have a new Poser version installed. It takes about five minutes.
