Ok so i sculpted out a quick face morph using the morphing tool. And im trying to get this character into a different poser file with other figures in it. Its a l'homme figure. I've been reading for hours and trying all sorts of things and I cant figure out how to transfer this over. Any help is great

Can't you save the figure to your library, open up the other poser file and add the saved figure with the morph from the library? I'm not sure if I understood your question so I don't know if this helps.

Isn't this the same as the question I asked about a month ago? I wanted to be able to save a face morph created with the morph brush inside of Poser. let me dig for the thread.

Im super new with this program. uhhh how do i save the figure to my library? Ive tried exporting the morph stuff and then it saves somewhere random. And i tried making a folder of the saves and putting it in my assets folder. And i tried adding that to the library and that didnt work. Im trying to find a video on how to do it and what ive followed isnt working at all. Sorry for the difficulty.

oh ok so it saves as a dial and you dial it up. wtf is this program...

I was successful at creating and saving the face morph. I think it does save the morph as a pose preset but not directly to your library. You have to drop it into a folder manually outside of the program.

Wait so does it save the face morph to the library somewhere when you export it?

I followed what the guy said, Im getting - Target geometry has wrong number of vertices

Wait i think i figured it out. Can i only save the head parts of the morph. I cant load it into the entire body i am realizing.

There are 2 ways to save and use your morph. The easiest (in my opinion) is to go to File/Export and near the top of the pop up select Morph Injection... This will ask for a name and a location for the injection. Then a selection box will open and you can select the morph or morphs you want to save. Once you click ok (or whatever) it will save 2 files to your location, one is a PMD file the other is a Pose file. The Pose file will used the PMD file to inject the morph(s) into a selected figure in the scene.

The 2nd way is simply to save the figure with your morphs into the Character folder of poser but be sure to use a new name or it can over right you L'Homme figure. When you open your new Poser file you can load the figure with the morphs. The big set back to this for me is that you are crowding you figure file And it will only load the figure with the morphs you save with it. By using injections to save your morphs you can add them any time you open a new figure and if you have several (or more) morphs you can now mix and match, Also in the old days using ht ePMD would save a it of disk space, not as important with the current hard drives but way back when every bit counted. Hope this help! Letterworks PS injection morph made for L'Homme CAN be injected into LaFemme they use basically the same mesh, just rearranged a bit, but I don;t guaranty the results will work exactly the same since the mesh has been re-arranged but it may give some interesting reusults.
