As some of you may know I am moderating the "La Femme/L'Homme fan club" on facebook. I've never done any rigging and have a club member trying to learn this. He is importing a jacket from Blender to Poser to be rigged to V4. He has watched and followed several tutorials from YouTube and has an issue. Let me quote:

"I and doing something wrong. u followed the steps, brought in the object (Jacket), brought in the dev model (I made since M4 doesn't have one). uncheck all the body parts not used. When I try to leave the room, I get "some polygons are not grouped". There's no grouping mentioned in any tutorial. And the only parts that come out of the setup room are the shoulders and the cuffs. I also tried method two (cr2 file hijack) with even less success. Changed the directories to point at the object and used a few from another jacket product. Sooooo frustrating."

Can anyone either go to the club and help him directly or answer here and I will relay?

I'd really appreciate it.

The "some polygons are not grouped" message happens when there are polygons in the geometry that do not have a bone associated with it.

He will have to compare the bone names in his dev rig and the group names in his model, to make sure that the group names match up between the two.

I almost hate to say this because I hate the ragged way it works but find out if he/she checks the autogroup box when transferring the rig in the set-up room. He/she sounds like a beginner and that is a part most neglect not knowing to group the figure to match the rigging
