La Flemme rigging issues OK it’s be a while since I rigged some clothes in poser. So I may sound a bit dumb. This is the process I’m using.

  1. I model the suit and group it with AutoGroup Editor.
  2. I import the suit in and go to the setup room, I use the LaFemme clothing DEV rig, I uncheck the fingers and individual toes and face rig. Click OK
  3. Conform suit to LaFemme and turn off the IK on the legs and put limits on.
  4. I select the suit and copy Joint parameters OK
  5. I select the suit and copy morphs from LaFemme all. It crashes poser every time without fail.

I try again with the morphs this time I only select the JCMs on the body and it copies. Try posing it works reasonably well without poke through. But the morphs are a bit wrinkly and rough. So I try to edit the morphs E.g JCMlArmDwn85 it set the arm on LaFemme 85. Then go to the suit body JCMlArmDwn85 I go edit morph try to start smoothing nothing happens, then try Convert to post transform morph, and still nothing happens. So I have no idea and quilting with my tail between my legs. If anyone can see anything basic I’m doing wrong please point it out.. Or if someone wants to go 50/50 and do the rigging you’re more than welcome. Preview can be found here.

Alright.. this may come off as I'm sounding like an a.. , but it's really the only help I can offer about this. Go to the premium tutorials (community/tutorials/poser)second page, and have a look at the tutorials for laFemme, Nerd did a bunch of them, and I know one covers the jcm thing.

Oh also, when you do the morph copy thing, make sure you have the parameters set to show all hidden or it won't copy the hidden morphs.

Consider me insane if you wish, but is your reality any better?

Theres another route via the fitting room that works. Since it's already shaped to fit you just pop in to the fitting room and press create figure. Grouping already done so untick that. At this point you CAN add the morphs but i would wait with that at this stage. Once created ppop back to the poser room. Delete the first suit obj prop and save the new figure to library. lolad a new scene. Add LF and then conform the new suit. Then use copy morph. This have worked for everything ive done for LF. I got a free suit in my free stuff if you want to have a look.

I think they must be out of date? there's a sticky at the top of the forum that said something about exporting the obj unwelded and reimporting back in but I don't really understand what it refers to, I think it broken and they may wait till 12 to fix it, plus I don't see too many full body suits on the market. Thanks anyways ! Cheers

@Ghostman That did work with save it to my library first the conform to LF them copy the morphs after that and it didn't crash. But still can't edit the suit JCMs after that. Getting closer. Thanks you solved the morph copying problem !

The only way i know of to edit the jcm's is to make a new one or edit it via the morph brush. In the morph brush panel you can chose to edit an already made jcm or morph.

I've figured it out, I was editing the full body JCMs not the body part JCM that's why it wasn't moving, wow it's a struggle at the start for the first time, but getting there !

Yes I've got the idea now, I'm going to try and finish it, it's always hard the first time. And I have to say the morph brush is my best friend now !
