www.dartanbeck.com is a new platform in an attempt to continue showing Carrara to the world. Being a bit wacky, I have a feeling that the site might be too. I try to keep it serious, but I've always been a bit... different?
The main focus of the site is to (eventually) help folks make movies using Carrara.
Since I've always been working long, hard hours chiseling stone in the heat of the sun, learning CG has been kept to whenever I could fight my body's urge to sleep/recharge, hence this journey taking me such a long time.
To help launch the site, I needed to get a good focal point. After redesigning my main protagonist, Rosie, to Genesis and giving her long, curly dynamic hair I finally decided to begin with an introduction of her with a very brief showcase of how she's put together - and then have support articles on the site for further information.
