The /data/cloud/ folder in the Daz Connect Data directory has all the products you install through Daz Studio itself, one product per folder with the folder named for the SKU. All those sub-folders appear merged in the Daz Connect container in Daz Studio Formats/Poser Formats in the Content Library pane.

RHaseltine: How do I get it to read the files in the Documents folder, should I put them into the Daz studio formats folder?

Which? /Daz 3D/Studio/My Library/ and the Connect library should already be set as content directories by default, as should the My Daz 3D Library folder in Public Documents. Or are you having trouble with the MS OneDrive system moving stuff out of the Documents folder.

YES, that is what has happened. I closed onedrive I think ?,I went to it and 1000's of files are there, Microsoft wants me to start a subscription Not going to happen. Daz 3d /studio/ my library/ is where everything is stored. ( users public/public documents/my Daz 3d library/ has only the basic studio files. I do not know were the Connect library is. On this new install, I noticed the onedrive thing but paid no attention to it, a bad mistake I guess. What to do now reinstall?

Reinstalling won't change settings, what you need to do is make sure that the settings match the actual locations of the files. Make a list of which folders contain Runtime and/or data folders - those are probably your actual content directories (make sure you don't have one listed folder inside another) - the main exception being all the Connect folders, if anything was installed that way, where you want the folder that holds the /data/cloud/ folder not the /data/cloud/1_xxxxx/ folder that holds each product's own Data and Runtime folders.

Once you have the list you need to go to Edit>Preferences, then the Content tab within that, then click Content Directory Manager - there you can add, remove, and edit folders as needed.

This is what happened, Disk C: usersPublicPublic DocumentsMy Daz 3D Library, this is where everything is. reality 4.3 is where it is supposed to be, all extra folders in the studio desk to are gone. I found out that the installer was putting folders all over the place, because of that onedrive I stoped it and removed all of its files. Now studio works like it is supposed to.?? RHaseltine I surely Thank You for all the help John
