WOW, it's amazing what some folks will go through just for a good cup of coffee. 😉 Too bad, in the end it was all just a dream.

Definitely an amazing piece of animation, that's for sure.

You know it actually took me a while to realize that the blue hair girl in every scene was actually her.

Wow, that's a brutally heavy story! Really slick way of telling it tho.

Not near the "technical showcase" that some of the other Open Movie projects may have been, but one of if not the best overall, I think, so far as a short film goes.

Watching it again tonite, anyone else catch the differences in the interactions between the couple each time through? I totally missed the changes on the first two or three watches.

It took me a couple/three times to actually see them, as the movement is very quick each time until the end.

Just in case anyone is interested, I found an earlier video on YouTube on the early making of "Coffee Run". I found it rather interesting and it explained a few things as well, Also, it has some news about possible Blender updates coming out later this year.

Yeah, I didn't like that one. Too negative, too sad for me.
I've always preferred Disney style classics to dark movies :)
